Eduarda Abrantes tem uma Licenciatura de 5 anos em Design Multimédia da ESAD.CR (Portugal). Publicou ilustrações em inúmeros jornais e revistas portugueses, de entre as quais ilustrou o artigo “Nichos da Fama” para o semanário Expresso – Caderno de Economia e Internacional.
Na revista Elle foram suas as ilustrações do artigo “Os 7 Pecados Mortais”, tendo criado também para a secção “Horóscopo” desta publicação os signos do Zodíaco. Ilustrou ainda semanalmente durante 20 edições consecutivas, de Julho a Novembro de 2003, a crónica de Edson Athayde “Os Trintões”, na revista DNA, suplemento de sábado do jornal Diário de Notícias. Para o Jornal i ilustrou “O Cunhado da Humanidade”.
Recebeu o prémio Postais dos CTT referente ao dia dos namorados, e o prémio Jovens Criadores 2005 em Design Gráfico. Concurso que em 2006 teve toda a imagem gráfica e multimédia realizada pela mesma.
Obteve em 2005 o Diploma de Mestrado em Audiovisuais, Multimédia e Interatividade na FCSH da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). Em 2008, o Diploma de Estudos Avançados em Artes Visuais e Intermédia da Universidade Politécnica de Valência (Espanha). Universidade onde se encontra atualmente a finalizar uma tese de doutoramento com o tema “Narrativas Dinâmicas”.

Eduarda Abrantes holds a 5 year Degree in Multimedia Design by ESAD.CR (Portugal). Eduarda published illustrations in numerous portuguese newspapers and magazines, among which illustrated the article “Niches of Fame” for the weekly newspaper Expresso – Caderno de Economia e Internacional. In Elle magazine were hers the illustrations of the article “The 7 Deadly Sins”, and has created to the “Horoscope” for this publication the zodiac signs. Further illustrated weekly for 20 consecutive editions from July to November 2003, the chronicle of Edson Athayde “The Dirty Thirty”, in DNA magazine, the Saturday supplement of Diario de Noticias. For the i Newspaper Eduarda illustrated “The Brother in Law of Humanity”.
She received the prize for the CTT Postcards for Valentine’s Day, and the 2005 Young Artists Award in Graphic Design. Competition which in 2006 had all the graphics and multimedia design held by her.
In 2005 she obtained a Master’s degree in Audiovisual, Multimedia and Interactivity in FCSH New University of Lisbon (Portugal). In 2008, the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Visual Arts and Intermedia at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). University where she is currently finalizing a doctoral thesis on the theme “Dynamic Narratives”.
